Korean Spicy Pork Bulgogi

For the Ingredients

  • 400 g pork collar
  • 4 stalks of spring onion sectioned
  • 2 red onions sliced
  • 4 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tbsp cooking oil
  • Some roasted sesame seeds

For the Marinade

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce OR Lea & Perrins sauce
  • 1 tsp corn flour
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

For the Seasonings

  • 2 tbsp korean hot chilli paste gochujang
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 4 tbsp water


  • Marinate the pork collar with the marinate ingredients for at least an hour.
  • Heat up a grill pan with the cooking oil. Add the minced garlic and red onions and stir fried till fragrant. Add half of the spring onions and stir fried lightly.
  • Add the marinated pork collar and stir fried till the colour on the meat changes.
  • Add the seasonings and stir fried for a further 30 seconds. Add the balance of the spring onions and stir fried for another 30 seconds. Dish up, toss sesame seeds all over and serve hot.
