Fried Chicken Mid-Joints

Ingredients
  

For the Ingredients

  • 8 pcs of chicken mid-joints
  • 1 tbsp light soya sauce
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • some cooking oil

For the Egg Sauce (mix well)

  • 1 egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup water

For the Flour Mixture (mix well)

  • 20 g flour
  • 20 g corn flour
  • 20 g rice flour
  • 20 g tapioca flour
  • 40 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp mixed herbs
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Marinade the chicken with the light soya sauce and pepper and leave it overnight in the fridge.
  • Dip the chicken mid-joints in the egg sauce before coating it evenly with the flour mixture.
  • Heat up the cooking oil in a wok till very hot with flames appearing. Reduce the heat to low thereafter and deep fry the chicken till golden brown.
  • Dish and serve hot.
