As the movie headlines narrate “The Hero Becomes the Fugitive”, it’s not difficult to guess the story plot of the show. In a nutshell, a secret agent was being setup by his very own good friend in a plotted assassination of the President and goes all the way to find justice for himself and reveal the culprits behind all the ulterior motives. Even though the story plot was pretty predictable, I do enjoy this movie quite a fair bit.
Though lengthy at a full 2 hours throughout, the dramatic actions and interactions between the various leads were very much entertaining. And I especially enjoyed the scenes where the father and son duo make several amusing pacts to wane away their intruders.
And of course the movie concluded with a perfect ending. The President awakes from the concussion after the assassination, the secret agent proves his case by saving the President and the country from the unscrupulous commercial motivators who attempt to bring the country to war and profit out of it. And the long sour relationship between the secret agent and his dad was sweetened on a good note.
In general, the movie breeze through with a consistent motion with some ups and downs at certain points which tweaked your emotions there and then. Though not a block buster but overall still a fairly recommendable movie with several good casting.
