Centrum Vitamin C Recipe – Apple Avocado Power Booster Smoothie

Recently I got myself a personal blender which was one that you can blend, bring along with you and drink from the blender jar itself. So I was literally looking for healthy breakfast smoothie ideas which can be easily blended up. 

My favourite smoothie would be one that comes wholly from the natural fruits itself without any artificial sweeteners or sugar syrup. And since people are shunning away from strawberries at the moment which was my kinda favourite smoothie, I decide to go for avocados instead ! 
 
 
Well in Singapore, avocado milk shake is a favourite option but it often involves the use of milk and some syrup along with it. To make this smoothie a perfect blend for everyone, especially those who are lactose intolerant, I eliminate the use of any milk or soya in this smoothie.
 
It was just a pure good blend of apples, avocadoes, peppermint water and bananas, and infused with a touch of Vitamin C from Centrum Singapore.

Ingredients
  • 3-4 slices of apples
  • ½ avocado, sliced
  • 2 mini bananas, diced (or 1 large banana)
  • 100ml boiling water
  • 8-10 pcs of fresh peppermint leaves
  • A handful of ice cubes
Instructions
  1. Add boiling water to peppermint leaves and allow it to stay in the water for 5 minutes. Remove the leaves and allow the water to cool slightly.
  2. Add peppermint water, ice cubes together with all the fruits into blender.
  3. Blend everything till smooth.
  4. Add Centrum Vitamin C powder for extra goodness !
  5. And enjoy !!
