The Joy of Baking a Chocolate Marble Cake

I got off my lazy couch and roll into another swirl of baking momentum ! Haha. Never been so diligent on weekdays nights !

Anyway I had some coverture chocolate leftover from a fondue and some sour cream left, so here is the bake…

I love the part where you need to create swirls using the knife or sharp end of a spoon and really “anyhow draw”. Haha ! No matter how it’s done, it will always turn into “some unexpected kind of art” ! The above two illustrate it all.

The recipes from this website rarely fail me. The texture is light and fluffy and the converture chocolate enhances it all. The recipe uses the additions of some coffee+cinnamon to bring that light twinge of aroma, as can be felt when you have just brewed a nice cup of fine coffee. And yet, the taste is not so overwhelming that even non-coffee drinkers like me, finds it wonderfully acceptable.
