You won’t believe this is the best Fried Hokkien Prawn Mee that I have enjoyed in Singapore so far. No awards, no certificates, no newspaper feedback or recommendations on its stall front, the fried hokkien mee here is a trademark to anyone who dines frequently at ABC food centre. I never liked fried hokkien mee in the past simply because I don’t like fried egg noodles. But the fried hokkien mee here really changed my opinion ! In fact, for fried hokkien prawn mee, I only dine from this stall and seldom other places since then because I have not found one that can meet its match. The stock base of prawns and pork is simmered well to its perfection and compiled with its home-made belachan chilli, the fried hokkien mee here is just nothing short of fantastic ! However, do note that the dish of yellow and rice noodles here is being served wet so unless you are those who go for the dried hokkien mee kind, then this is clearly not your style.

My name is Joyce, author of Eat What Tonight. Spending time in the kitchen has been one of my greatest therapeutic passion thus far even though I couldn't do it on a more often basis than I wish I could. I do not prized myself as a great cook or baker, after all I am a one-woman show in the kitchen and blogging scene. Nevertheless, I hope this little space of mine can aspire anyone like myself to appreciate and enjoy the best of oneself's efforts in every single home made dish.
